Different tours around Boothbay Harbor:

Sailing - A 2 1/2 hour cruise will give you time to relax and get a feel for the Maine coast. You will be sailing aboard a traditional wooden windjammer that was built to sail all oceans. We will be sailing to the outer islands off Boothbay Harbor. You will see lighthouses, lobstermen, wildlife, birds, and remote islands that are accessible only by boat. On every cruise we take you to Seal Rocks. If the seals are there, you are sure to see them, and our quiet windjammer will get you as close as you want.

Whale watching - Experience seeking the world's largest mammals aboard the Harbor Princess. Your whale watching trips begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor. Our Naturalist will point out various islands, homes, wildlife and historic lighthouses as we begin our journey in search of the whales. Once we reach the whale's feeding ground we encourage all our passengers to help in our search looking for any spouts, backs, bodies, tails or splashes. When we have the first whale in sight our experienced captains maneuvers the boat close for all to see! Our Naturalist will entertain and inform you with many interesting facts and figures about the whales you are viewing. Whales we may encounter include Finbacks, Humpbacks, Minkes, dolphins and porpoises. We also may see harbor seals, sharks, ocean sunfish and a great variety of open ocean birds. Remember that humans are merely observers in the whale's world, so we never know what they will do or what we will see.

Cabbage Island Clambake - Your Downeast Clambake adventure begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor aboard the Argo, en route to 5-1/2 acre Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay. Once you're there, a succulent feast of Maine lobsters and clams with all the traditional fixings awaits you. Cabbage Island has been the home of traditional clambakes since 1956, and your hosts, the Moore family, cordially welcome you to experience this "Downeast" tradition! The Original Downeast Clambake of Boothbay Harbor is cooked in seaweed, steamed from top to bottom, and covered with tarpaulins and rocks in order to capture all the flavor and sweetness of Maine lobsters and clams.
